There are two menus where you'll find all the tools you need for your next project: - **User menu** - your personal profile information - **Left-hand menu** - manage and view projects, teams or users and settings. Clicking different items will expand the left-hand menu to display a relevant sub-menu for each item. *Note: Only users with accurate permissions can access the configuration interface and edit content. Contact your Civio Engage administrator for more information.* On this page we'll explore the different functions in each menu. User menu --------- ![The user menu open in the top-right corner, showing My profile, Manage profile, Change to dark theme and Logout options.](https://engage.knowledge.civ.io/storage/XXzKJn3NoVnzQHXKl7t8vCsgETAx0banDqbg2tMi.png) User menu **Menu item****Description****My profile**View your personal profile details.**Manage profile**Update your account details, password, categories of interest, enable two-factor authorisation.**Change to dark theme**Switch between dark and light theme in your personal admin interface. *Note: This setting exclusively applies to the admin interface of your website and does not affect public users***Logout**Log out of Civio Engage.Left-hand menu -------------- ![The left-hand menu rail, showing each icon with its label underneath: Home, Content, Projects, Templates, Emails, Users, Import and Settings, with the Public view eye icon at the foot of the rail.](https://engage.knowledge.civ.io/storage/GTPogyd6SMvGX32gtlJFYhKk5NuiP4wNjegup6j8.png) **Menu item** **Description** **Home** An overview of your site's engagement, with headline figures as summary widgets and a table of the top-performing participation tools. **Content** An overview of the content and engagement tools on your site, including Pages, Documents, Updates, Events, Surveys, Timelines, Maps and Hotspots. **Projects** An overview of projects you have access to, and where you can create new projects. **Templates** Your site's template library, where you can view and manage templates. **Emails** An overview of Emails and outbound notifications you have access to, and where you can create and configure new ones. **Users** An overview of all users, including participants and internal users, and see their role and contact details. You can add new users here. **Import** Import content into the platform, including content migrated from another site. **Settings** Manage settings for your website. This menu is restricted to users with appropriate permissions. **Public View** Opens the public view in a new tab from the home page. It is the eye icon at the foot of the menu, and the one item the menu never labels. Not every site shows all of these items. Some are optional, so your own menu may be shorter. Project sub-menu ---------------- When you click on a specific project, the sub-menu will display available actions or tools for that project. Click on a tool for more details. **Participation** The available participation tools for your project. Click on a tool for more details. Recent and Recent projects -------------------------- The **Recent** and **Recent projects** sub-menus give you quick access to pages or project pages you have recently viewed.
