How can the public access basic site pages?
-------------------------------------------

Basic site pages can be added to either your main navigation or footer navigation.

To find out which pages are currently part of the main or footer navigation:

1. Click **Settings** in the left-hand menu bar.
2. Select **Menus** in the left hand navigation.
3. Click either **Main** or **Footer** navigation.

Create a new basic site page
----------------------------

To create a new basic site page:

1. Click **Content** in the left-hand menu bar.
2. Click **Pages** to see a list of all existing basic site pages.
3. Click the round **+** button at the top right of the screen.
4. Give the page a **Title**, a short **Summary** and the main page content in the **Body**. To add a picture, use **Add an image** in the panel on the right.
5. For more content options, scroll to the bottom of the form and click **Add block** or **Add group**. Click [here](https://docs.district.au/district-engage/product-guides/working-with-content/how-to-use-content-blocks-and-groups) to find out more about content blocks and groups.
6. Optionally, add a **Table of contents** to the page. There's no separate on/off switch: open the **Table of contents** panel, click **Edit TOC** and choose which headings to include, and it appears automatically once at least one heading level is selected. This adds an "on this page" list of links to the top of the page.
7. Click **Publish.**
