Where to Find Site Menu Settings
--------------------------------

To find which pages are currently part of either the header or footer navigation:

1. Click **Settings** in the left-hand menu bar.
2. Under **Structure,** Click **Menus**.
3. Click either **Main** or **Footer** navigation.

Managing Menu Items
-------------------

### Add a Navigation Item

To add a new item to the navigation menu:

1. Go to **Settings** in the left-hand menu bar.
2. Click **Menus**. Select either **Main** or **Footer** navigation.
3. Click **+Add link**.
4. Give the new item a **Title**, **URL** and optional **icon**. Icons now render on the frontend of your site. You can also set a menu item to display as **icon only**, the title text will still be used as alt text for accessibility, but only the icon will be visible to visitors.
5. Tick the box if the page is to be enabled and visible on the frontend.
6. Additionally, you can nest links under each other, by dragging one under another, to create a dropdown navigation style. In the Main navigation, nested items appear as a hover dropdown; in the Footer navigation, nested items are shown as a permanently visible indented sub-list.
7. Click **Done**.
8. **Save** your changes.

### Link an Existing Webpage to Navigation

To link a webpage to the site navigation:

1. Navigate to the **page** you want to link and click **Edit**.
2. Copy the **Url alias** (prefixed with "/page/" in the URL).
3. Go to **Settings** in the left-hand menu.
4. Click **Menus** and select either **Main** or **Footer** navigation.
5. Click the menu item you wish to link.
6. Paste the copied Url alias into the **URL** field, maintaining the "/page/" prefix.
7. Click **Save** to update the menu item.

### Remove a Navigation Item

**Warning:** When deleting menu items, you will NOT be prompted to confirm this action. The item will be deleted immediately.

To remove an existing menu item:

1. Go to **Settings** in the left-hand menu bar.
2. Click **Menus**. Select either **Main** or **Footer** navigation.
3. Select an item from the list.
4. Select **Delete**.

### Change the Order of Navigation Items

To change the order of items in the navigation menu:

1. Go to **Settings** in the left-hand menu bar.
2. Click **Menus**. Select either **Main** or **Footer** navigation.
3. "Grab" the six dots at the start of the menu item and drag it to the desired position.
4. Additionally, you can nest links under each other, by dragging one under another, to create a dropdown navigation style.
5. Click **Save**.
