----------------

If you're a new user, here's how to access your Civio Engage account and set up a password:

1. When a new user has been created with your email address, you will receive a confirmation email.
2. Open the email, and click the **Set a password** link.
3. This will open a page that will enable you to Enter your new password.
4. Complete the **Password** and **Confirm password** fields. Click the **Reset password** button.
5. You will now be able to access your account through the Login button on the Civio Engage website.

To log in to Civio Engage:

1. Open your Civio Engage website.
2. **Login** using your username and password.
3. If you have enabled Two Factor Authentication (2FA):

    1. You will be asked to confirm access to your account by entering a 2FA code provided by the Authenticator app. Log into the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device. Enter the randomly generated authentication code provided by the app into the field.
    2. Click **Confirm authentication**. You are now logged into Civio Engage.
4. Click on your **username** at the top right, and then **Dashboard**, to be taken to the configuration interface where you can start building your projects.

Setting up Two-factor authentication (2FA)
------------------------------------------

To enable 2FA, follow these steps:

1. Open your Civio Engage website.
2. Click on your **username** to open the User menu.
3. Click **Manage profile**.
4. Scroll to **Two-factor authentication** sector down the bottom of the page. Click **Enable**.
5. This will open a popup window where you need to confirm your password. Enter your password and click **Confirm**.
6. Two-factor authentication is now enabled.
7. Once enabled, a QR code will appear in the 2FA section of your profile settings.
8. Scan this QR code via the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device (following the instructions on the the app).
9. This will add "**Civio core** to your Authenticator account list.
10. The next time you login to Civio Engage, you will be redirected to an authentication page and asked to confirm access to your account by entering an authentication code provided by the Authenticator app.
11. Enter the code, and then click **Login** to access your Civio Engage account.
