Delete a project

   Unlike unpublishing, deleting a project will remove all its content and data permanently from Civio Engage. *This step cannot be undone!*

To delete a project:
--------------------

1. Navigate to the **Dashboard.**
2. In the left-hand menu bar, click **Projects**. This will show you a list of all the projects you have access to.
3. Search or scroll to the relevant project. On the right-hand side of the list, click the **ellipsis** icon to open a dropdown menu.
4. Click **Delete**. You'll be prompted with a warning. Click **Yes, Delete this project** to confirm.
5. Alternatively, from the **Projects** page, click on a **Title** to open the project. On the right hand side of the screen, click the ellipsis then select **Delete.**
6. You'll be prompted with a warning. Click **Yes, Delete this project.**
7. Your project is now deleted.

*Only users with the appropriate permissions can delete a project.*
