Intro to Reporting & Analytics ===================================== Updated 2 months ago Search Go Civio Engage gives you reporting at three levels — your **main dashboard** (site-wide), each **project**, and each individual **participation tool**. This article shows you where to find each one, how to filter the data, and how to export it. Your three dashboards --------------------- **Main dashboard**Site-wide analytics — visits, registrations, participation activity across all projects.**Project dashboard**Analytics for a single project — visits, submissions, followers, and more.**Participation tool report**Detailed breakdown of responses for an individual tool (e.g. a survey or poll).For a full explanation of each dashboard and every available widget, see [Reporting dashboards](/articles/9184210119695-Reporting-dashboards) and [Understanding Dashboard Widgets](/articles/11848404686991-Understanding-Dashboard-Widgets). Open the main dashboard ----------------------- ![](/storage/XEzy6tN0sQvtindzxLsEEIVlhOXveLuBpMJopf2z.png) 1. Click your **username** in the top-right corner. 2. Click **Dashboard**. You can also click **Home** in the left-hand menu. Open a project dashboard ------------------------ 1. Click **Projects** in the left-hand menu. 2. Click on a project to open it — the **Report** tab is the default view. In the left sidebar under **Participation**, click a tool type (e.g. Surveys, Polls). 3. Click on a participation tool to open it. 4. Click the **Report** tab. Filter by date range -------------------- Every main and project dashboard has date-range buttons at the top. 1. Click **7 days**, **30 days**, or **90 days** for a quick preset. 2. Click **Custom** to pick a specific start and end date, then click **Apply**. Open the dashboard you want to export (main or project). 2. Click the **Export report** button in the top-right corner. 3. Choose **Download PNG image** or **Download PDF document**. You can also export an individual chart — hover over it and click the **menu icon** to download as SVG, PNG, or CSV. Open a project and click the tool type under **Participation**. 2. Click the **ellipsis (⋯)** next to the tool you want to export. 3. Select **Export Submissions** — an XLSX file will download. Customise your dashboards ------------------------- ![](/storage/YFRrdn8Opr3Pp0sZpvIJlJgzuhYIVbGZUst2c8sJ.png) You can add, edit, remove, and reorder widgets on any main or project dashboard. 1. Click the **+ button** in the top-right of the dashboard to add a widget. 2. Click the **three dots** on any widget to edit or remove it. 3. Drag and drop widgets to reorder them. 4.
