Release 1.30 Release 1.30 ============ Released 27th Aug 2026 Search Search Release 1.30 introduces better tools for managing submissions, simpler access to restricted surveys and more control over team roles and file uploads. It also includes broader performance, reporting and usability improvements across the platform. ### What's new **Filter submissions by response** – The submissions list can now be filtered using answers to individual questions. Select a question, choose whether the answer contains, equals or does not equal a value, then add as many conditions as required. This makes it easier to find specific responses, review particular participant groups and export exactly the information you need. They enter their email, receive a one-time code and continue where they left off. If they do not already have an account, one is created automatically. This removes an additional step and reduces the chance of participants dropping out before completing the survey. For example, someone who edits and reviews content can be assigned both roles without being given broader access. Existing team roles are unaffected. **Control allowed file types** – File upload questions can now be restricted to specific file types, such as PDF only. This gives teams greater control over the files they receive and reduces the need to manage unsupported formats. If no file types are selected, the existing defaults continue to apply. **Display media selector labels** – Media selector labels can now be displayed on the public page, making the available options clearer and helping participants make the right selection. ### What's improved - **Save and continue later** – This option now appears as a clear button at the bottom of the survey. The supporting panel also better explains how the return link works and why participants should keep it somewhere safe. - **Report PDF exports** – Reports exported to PDF now more closely match the on-screen dashboard, creating a cleaner and more useful document for sharing and record keeping. - **Survey responsiveness** – Checkbox questions and Likert scales now respond immediately, including within large, multi-page surveys using conditional questions. - **Platform performance** – A broader performance update has reduced page load times across the platform. - **Forms requiring sign-in on iOS** – Submission reliability has been improved in Safari on iPhone and iPad. - **Search terms containing punctuation** – Site search now recognises terms containing punctuation and slashes, making reference numbers such as `DA26/0192` easier to find. - **Date-only fields** – Date handling is now consistent across time zones, ensuring dates save and display exactly as entered. - **Content group settings** – Group configuration forms now adapt to the selected group type, displaying only the relevant settings and applying them consistently to the public page. - **Event activity reporting** – Project views and event views are now recorded separately, providing a more accurate picture of individual event activity. - **Map layer builder** – Image upload handling has been improved when creating map layers. - **Dashboard links** – Links across the dashboard now remain underlined, making them clearer and easier to identify.
