This works in surveys, custom user fields and SRM custom fields. ![](https://engage.knowledge.civ.io/storage/N0ObqdDgIrqs3I4wE50ne7cgyBgxoy4dcuizKCem.png) **Deactivate a user** - When someone leaves, you can now deactivate their account instead of deleting it. They can no longer sign in or receive notifications, and everything they created stays in place with its history. You can reactivate the account at any time. ### Small improvements - **Access settings** - the project restriction section has been reworked, giving more control who can see a project on your public site. - **Show or hide the Participate tab** - For projects that aren't a consultation, such as a recognition wall or an expression of interest, you can now hide the project's Participate tab. The participation tools stay live and can still be reached by direct link. - **Participate tab** - the "Have your say" heading no longer appears above a project's participation tools, so the tab suits any kind of project or initiative. - **Project timelines** - all of a project's timeline stages now show in one list in the dashboard, so you can reorder the whole timeline in one place. - **Event registration** - events now say Register instead of RSVP. - **Survey attachment downloads** - attachment files keep their original names with a short question code, so a downloaded zip unzips on Windows without "file path too long" errors. The zip also includes a list of the questions each code refers to. - **Ranked image questions** - exports of Media selector questions have been improved. - **Text answers on Samsung phones** - text box answers keep every word as it's typed on Samsung phones. - **Documents** - changing the status of several documents at once keeps their attached files. - **Templates** - you can save a template from a project, event or page that hasn't been published yet.
